It's getting tougher and tougher with the amount of users, ignorant and smart, online. There is no longer shame to commenting on subjects you know nothing about and too many people get off on trolling.

I can't wait until every article on Hubski has 20+ great comments on it and is a place I can get more information and discuss any article. Reddit used to be like that. It used to be the go-to place to discuss and expand: fact-checking, storytelling, etc. Now Reddit commentary is just as bad as the commentary you find across the web. Trolling, ignorance, misinformation, puns, witty one liners, fuck that shit. I want to learn as much as I can and that's not reading a single article and moving on. That's reading the article and layers of agreement and disagreement and tangents and discourse.
