Meditate.

I meditate for 20 minutes a day. Going for 30 minutes next week. It takes some daily practice to start "getting it" in a sense, but when it clicks, it feels so great to just turn your mind off and relaaaaax.

I use Calm for guided meditation. Start off from 2 to 5 minutes, and build up from there. It helps to keep your brain from overloading.

I also use RSS feeds liberally. It makes it so I don't have to constantly refresh for new content on the websites I frequent. I have the RSS update every 4 hours with new stories. I can feel comfortable knowing I won't miss anything, so I can focus on other tasks, like my writing or my homework.
