I'm mainly interested in a smartwatch for health and fitness metrics and utilities (sleep tracking, smart/vibrating alarm, GPS tracking for running/swimming/biking, etc.). That said, the watch that's caught my eye recently is the Omate Truesmart, which operates as a full Android phone. After seeing Her, the thought of using something like this with a small bluetooth earpiece or some such doesn't seem quite as farfetched to me. The Omate is probably a bit too bulky for me, but I could definitely see myself grabbing a further iteration of it or something like it a couple years down the line. It'll be exciting to see how Google Now and other voice-based utilities evolve, because they'll be hugely important for smartwatches and other increasingly small gadgets.
