writing about the possibility of placing a human mind into that of a dog or cat or monkey, is, I find, quite spooky. I don't like it. Practical or not, the possibility may not be all that far away, given f-mri and similar technology. It seems to me that someone actually could give the possibility some serious consideration, and that I think necessitates some reflection on the issue of ethics . . .
