It was but it was excellent. Have you ever had molds of your teeth taken for a retainer or something? Where they do the pink gloop and shove it in your mouth and it feels like you are almost drowning or choking because it's pressing the back of the top of your pallet? But all you can do is remain calm and hope for the best because freaking out is going to make it worse (and you hopefully have a dentist to rescue you?) That's sort of the feeling that reading this gave me again - it's the only comparable situation I've been in. I love that after this happened, NASA goes all engineer on the problem and finds little things to do to prevent it. Almost drowning? Now your mask has a snorkel!
