I thought that Eric Schmidt stepping down would mean that Google would get back in tune with what made it so great. I'm surprised to see that Page is leading this charge into the internetification of Google. I'd love to sit down with him and pick his brain. What is it that he is getting at? What I'd really like to know, is if he is interested in what they are building. Growth of Google and health of the company aside. I'd like to know what he foresees, and if he is personally excited about it.
I'd also like to here Brin's take on this. I wonder if they are of similar minds.
