If you click through in point 5, there's a linked Times article that talks about the seemingly sexist sayings on little girls' clothing. http://parenting.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/11/22/sexist-message... I'm going to make an assumption here and say that the irony, of course, is that its women who are designing them. Is that really sexist? Sexism, as with racism, implies that one group is holding another down. Its not men who are out there designing onesies for either sex (although I'm sure there are some in the field). To claim that these sayings are harmful may be true, but to label it as sexist seems specious to me. (In full disclosure I just bought a Red Wings onesie for my niece that say "Future Stanley Cup Champ" on it, so I'm apparently setting her up for success!)
