I find Jewel v. NSA to be a very interesting case, and I'm looking forward to having a close read of the transcript. I tried copying and pasting some of the most interesting parts of the 6/6/14 transcript, but unfortunately it doesn't copy and paste very nicely from the PDF so I plan on taking a few minutes tomorrow to do that. This lawsuit alleges that the NSA engaged in unconstitutional collection of domestic communications. The NSA says it was destroying any (illegal?) content that it inadvertently collected, however the judge ordered a temporary restraining order preventing the destruction of evidence, which left the NSA in a somewhat awkward position.
