I'm seriously bummed over the end of The Colbert Report. For one, I think Colbert is tremendously talented and did some great things with that show. But it's one of those things that I will always associate with high school in particular, and some very good parts of it at that. It's weird, it's similar to Derek Jeter retiring (or, for me, Mariano Rivera) where something silly becomes tied to parts of your memories, and suddenly that becomes a memory too. It's a reminder of the passing of time, that's what it is.
