For example, did you know that 30% of inner city traffic is made up of cars looking for a place to park?

Citation Needed

Throughout history, there are many examples of great, world changing ideas being worked on simultaneously. On opposite sides of the globe without the different teams/inventors/civilizations having a clue about each others existence. This is called Multiple Discovery and it´s one of the contributing factors to why Nobel prizes are often given to multiple scientists who have not worked together, at the same time.

It's also called "Parallel Development" and it explains why five different Hollywood studios all come out with vampire movies at the same time. It's not that the world needs five vampire movies, it's that studio execs all read the same trade magazines and all see the same scripts coming in and out of the slush pile and being in a like environment, all decide it's time to make a vampire movie.

The fact that three companies took a P and put an arrow on it for their app doesn't indicate that it's time for parking to be revolutionized, it indicates that none of them have anything to add to the universe.

That shit has been ruled illegal, by the way.
