Also his wiki article mentions his work receives mixed reviews: positive reviews for bringing philosophy to a wider audience, and negative for pompously restating the obvious and lack of focus. Everyone who wants to get philosophy to a wider audience gets the same criticisms, probably because only someone searching for the same revelation the author was will find it in his work.
