Speaking only for myself, food fetishism takes away a lot of the joy I get out of cooking, particularly when you're talking about living things. Respect the turkey. Respect the ducks. Respect the cornish hens. That's three feast's worth of food that you're smashing together willy-nilly because you're a nerd that wants to make a Youtube video. The quality of food you are eating suffers greatly, you celebrate gluttony and excess for their own sake, and you need a spotting guide as for why your food must involve a fibonacci sequence.
