There's little argument on either side of the aisle that the Palin pick was disastrous for McCain. I'm certain that Romney has learned that lesson, in fact he has been adamant that he will choose someone that is ready to lead the nation from "day 1". My question to you is who do you think that is? I realize that there are likely more Dem's on Hubski but still, you have to have an opinion about who would be best suited for the job or at the very least... least worse for the job. Better yet, who do you think would compliment the ticket from the electorates standpoint? Who will help him win votes in key states etc?
Recently cliffelam had mentioned that he'd like to see Bobby Jindal as his running mate. But said he doesn't fit the "day one" requirement. -Not sure why he doesn't, he seems to have a great pedigree and intellect with enough executive experience.
Other mentions are Marco Rubio, Rob Portman, Chris Christie and Bob McDonnell are names I've heard mentioned.
So how about it, any guesses? Anyone you'd like to see in the spot in the case that Romney takes the presidency?
No matter who it is, just remember... it could be worse:
Also, there used to be talk of a potential switch on the Obama side. I would often hear H. Clinton mentioned as a replacement for Biden. What do you think? Impossible?
