Not quite as sophisticated as the music genome project, but this little page kicks out some interesting results. The idea is that you input three of your favorite bands and it gives you a fourth to explore and discover. Click "on the map" to see other bands and groups that are similar and that you might already know. The results are based on data collected from its visitors so obviously its quite subjective, but not far off.
