For today I picked a tool, mainly because I had one lying around. I'm not even sure what I used it for so obviously it's been awhile. Most tools offer a good shape to get better with the whole making things look 3D when drawing thing which is what I'm working on now. It's more difficult than books but not to hard that it's a massive step forward. So if that's a trouble area for you too, try drawing any tool you have lying around.
