I was surprised to hear that when I found LBJ‘s speech. There's a lot in it that was frankly surprising to hear and it made me curious how many people have heard it before.
I've been having fun finding historical speeches and taking excerpts from them to make segments on the show, and it always surprises me when I'm fairly familiar with the person, but never really heard them speak.
This one was a good example of someone who I knew about from history class and pop culture, but had never had a voice attached to it.
