I saw David about three years ago in concert. It was horrible. I mean it was great if you wanted to hear all the hits they play on lite FM and I'm sure that 99% of the audience was enthralled. His band was dressed in matching white outfits and that is exactly how they played. They were bland and matched the album performance in an uninteresting and unoriginal performance. Not one performer ever displayed an smidgen of personality during the whole show excepting David. I was pretty much disgusted by the whole thing. I haven't bought a Byrne solo album since don't think I ever will, the whole thing just left a bad taste in my mouth. If that what I wanted to hear I'd just listen to KINK FM for 24 hours. Putting on bullshit uninspiring show is one way to lose fans and money.
