I'm glad it's working out for you and your wife. It's an exciting thing to know you are on a path of your choosing and aren't just stumbling in the direction you were pushed. I like my job, it takes very good care of my family and it gives me a lot of free time to pursue the things I really love. I have a number of side projects that I hope will eventually become my full time endeavors. When they look like they are at a point where making the jump is a realistic investment, I'll gladly do so. When I say I "work too much", it's generally on things I love. But still, if I died tomorrow I would regret not having spent more time riding my bike, playing basketball, going on hikes etc. I need a healthier balance. Good luck in your endeavors. Aren't you working on a book, or am I mistaken?
When I'm not mixing a zombie movie. Gotta get it done for distributors, then I can get back to writing. Assuming nobody wants a script. Also need to crank out a graphic novel so that Dante doesn't get bored. But yeah, I've got a book I need to finish.
