Detroit, Flint, Warren - MI Miami, West Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale - FL

Florida took a beating too.

The only place on the list I've even been is Sacramento and it struck me as like Albuquerque without any of the decent Mexican food.

Yeah. Sacramento is pretty depressing. Considering it is the capitol of the 8th largest economy in the world, sad indeed. I had the misfortune of spending an afternoon there after a fender bender on our way to Vegas.

Big time--I totally agree with you about Chicago!!! It's a great city.

meaning you agree that it shouldn't be on the list or that it should?

I like Chicago but I've never lived there. Sometimes, like the case of Miami, a city can look great to the outsider but have horrible living conditions. But Chicago's great imo.

I've actually lived in Miami and the upscale communities are extravagant, but, just as the article says, outside of those, it is very slum-like
