It's interesting to see the evolution and battle between secretary and truck drivers. Some other notes: DC went from Janitor to Lawyer which is hilarious, and farmer has largely disappeared. I wonder if it's because of agricultural developments and larger farms buying out smaller ones or what's going on there.

I really want to take a look at my major/future profession and see how those job numbers have changed over the years.

The most common farm size 100 years ago was 5 acres. My wife's cousin has a small dairy farm in Wisconsin; they lease 240 acres.

My grandpa had one of these.

Here's what John Deere is selling these days.

Things are different.

Here in Nebraska, we talk about 80's, or plots of land that are eighty acres. My grandpa owns quite a few, and he leases a pretty large portion of them. Farms are definitely way bigger than they used to be.

I had to think about the GPS-controlled harvest machines from Interstellar when I saw that big truck. Is this technique actually used for harvest?

If you have too much money on your hands, you can already make your farming autonomous.

Yup.
