First of all, you better be super goddam hot if you're going to critique AJ. She makes a great point here, too:

Patriarchy is not men. Patriarchy is a system in which both women and men participate. The same could be said for racial bias. Until a group feels that they deserve and are worthy of full inclusion, then they are doomed to be looked on as second class. One needs to take one's dignity for oneself and own it, make it clear that you are who you are, and that's plenty fuckin' good enough. When you participate in discrimination against your own kind, it is an implicit admission that the status quo is right and acceptable.

As an aside, I think we should start tagging women's issues with #hubska (Saydrah, cynthianews, anyone?). Good polish humor.
