I was in Ann Arbor because it was a long weekend, OftenBen is gracious and has a guest bedroom, and I found a round trip flight for under $200. It is possible that over the last half-decade I have become a woman of means, or that I am living with my sister in a quirky apartment and pay less than $700 rent (a situation that is soon to end, my pocketbook fears)! As for Canada: I still do not have a passport (a certain amount around $100 of up front investment, which is really not enough to prevent me), and then secondly, Michigan was cold enough ā can I visit, in the summer? (I am projected to move June/July 2020, which will increase expenditures, take a whack out of my vacation time, and limit my ability to actually go anywhere for a while as I ā and the cats, more importantly the beloved cats ā get settled. And I have a half-marathon trip planned for Labor day in September. Iād be happy to talk about mid-late 2020 or summer 2021 however!)
