I would be very surprised if they aren't completely replaced by 2030. One has to wonder what will happen to all of those gas stations. I doubt that there will need to be so many charging stations when most charging will be done at home. Living in Detroit, it's obvious how much cars changed the urban landscape. I would expect that a switch to EVs, much less shared cars, is going to have a drastic effect on real estate and urban development.
