Oh, I wouldn't even bother trying to speak Swiss German. Here's a tip: whenever you lose a phone charger, head to the largest hotel in town and explain that you stayed there a few nights ago and left your charger. There is a chance that there is a lost and found composed of mostly "lost items". If you feel guilty about doing this, simply "lose" one of the same kind of items at another similar locale. I never made it to Switzerland, though I wish I had. I didn't go because my friends were skydiving over Basel and I didn't have the cash. If I remember correctly, I chose to hang out in Amsterdam (which was much closer to where I was living) instead. Study-abroads in Europe are so great.
