Life Without Buildings - The Leanover Scottish math rock from the early 00's. I think the vocals are the most fascinating part of this band. The singer sounds like she's almost rapping in a cooing, rather childlike manner, with a hint of a French accent. Maybe that doesn't sound appealing on paper but I swear it's one of the most mesmerizing sounds I've heard in quite some time.
