If you've ever been the type to go to the bar, have a bunch of drinks and shoot pool (that's right, I'm talking about you scrimetime ) then you are familiar with that perfect state of inebriation that brings out the pool shark in you. There's a small window when any shot, any angle is doable. You're a golden god on the table. Better strike fast though because one more Turkey and Coke later and you suck.

This is the same with creativity. I can't tell you how many times I've stayed up drinking with friends recording music and thinking it was awesome only to wake up the next day and hear us yelling "Do Not Join" into a microphone. -That's right bgood79 I have it on my external drive, it exists.

But there is a magic spot of drunkenness that leads to creativity. Check this out: http://hubski.com/pub?id=2516 -I was definitely getting lubed up when I recorded my Peter Higgs love song. Granted, I know it's not Mozart but for a couple hours work, it's not too shabby. Better yet, check out this one: http://hubski.com/pub?id=1589 Think we had a few drinks before deciding we were going to write a song about Rae Dawn Chong?? Ridiculous? -yes. Creative? -I think so.

When I wake up in the morning I have some of the most creative ideas I ever have. I write them down quickly and then either turn them in to a lyric/song or call mk and burden him with my latest crazy idea.

I guess my point is that alcohol can be great to a point, then after that point all you get are scratched shots and this song: http://hubski.com/pub?id=3026

Somewhere there's a happy medium where all the banked shots go in and The Squeeze always feels good.
