Chomsky often make many salient points that get almost zero consideration or attention because they are inconvenient for us to hear, but nonetheless true. Betwixt these he sprinkles radical leftist opinions as fact and says some things that are wrong and frankly, naive in my opinion. It's the more radical and absurd statements he makes (the minority) that make it so easy for his critics to dismiss him and not even address the better points. He says some things that are completely galling to me, but he also says some things that ring true and we as a nation would do well to consider. His attacks on American Exceptionalism and the insanity of it are especially salient on the whole.
