Im keen for this! But I was thinking, what if we focused on one playlist a day/every few days and then talked about it (or something). Its kinda like a book club, only we listen to a playlist or an album together. Since this is still a small community we can have a signup sheet where people can pick days to posts albums or playlists. Im thinking of this as im tying it, so there might be some problems, but it seems like something fun we could do while taking advantage of this small community.
I think these could be two separate events in and of themselves. A #musicclub and a#musicswap. #musicclub could be a weekly or monthly discussion of a different album. Since Hubski uses a two-tag system, we could even have different clubs for different genres. So the new album by Danny Brown could have a post post with #musicclub and #hiphop. That allows for more dicussion from people with different tastes. And different people could head up genres they're interesting in.
Yeah that sounds fun. I was just throwing the idea out there for everyone. One problem I can think of is that Im not sure how much discussion we would have over a single playlist. Iv never done something like this before so Im not sure. But yeah, I just like the idea of swapping music and finding new artists haha.
