These NSA leaks just get more and more depressing. Not necessarily for the revelation of the all pervading, all seeing big brother but for the huge waste of public funds and resources, supporting such a vast network of surveillance agencies/apparatus, when there are so many, I repeat, so many, noble causes where all of these billions could be positively applied. Ultimately, what the Snowden leaks really reveal is that the government has lost track of perspective and more importantly of priorities that matter.
It's not the worse news possible; they're still having to rely on attacking the browser, not the Tor network itself. In particular, since Tor doesn't make any effort to defend against a global observer, they're not yet all-seeing. That might change when the Utah data center is finished, but for now it looks like Tor is still doing its job.
