Man, too bad I'm on the other side of the country :(. It's this friday, and he'll be talking about Wind Waker HD and Link Between Worlds. Hopefully we'll get some new information.

I was once able to go to a panel that Hideo Kojima was holding. It was really cool hearing his thoughts on game design and the like. Unfortunately I'm in the midwest so I can't go to this, but I look forward to hearing about what he says.

Yea, I haven't really had any experiences like that. The closest would probably be having Jason Rubin (co-founder of naughty dog) coming to speak at my game development club. We also get various speakers from other companies. Mostly from Blizzard and Obsidian, since they are the closest.

Wow, that's awesome that you got Rubin to come to your club! NG is one of my favorite companies, and their philosophy for game design is really refreshing.
