This post was mildly annoying. It spent about 11 paragraphs (as short as they may be) building it up then basically went: "Meh, I don't know". It was progressing as if something cool was going to be revealed. Still, peculiar that you got so many random followers for no apparent reason.
I have this exact same problem. When it first launched I was excited by the potential. I had something like 40 followers/followees from another online community I was part of at the time. Then maybe 10 or so friends from college. I posted links. I posted commentary. I posted photos. And then, in a couple weeks, my feed was nothing but 2 or 3 random blogs I had also followed. Slowly, I abandoned it. Some weeks I get 10 or 15 new followers. Others only a couple. So many are really foreign names - indian or pakistan or something completely unrecognizable. I always assumed it was people who saw a my stunning female face. Perhaps not.Yes,I have a Google+ account, like many others. And like many others, I could probably count on my two hands the number of times I’ve posted on said account. While I love the website’s user interface, i don’t have enough friends to justify using it, and I resort to other websites to converse with netizens that have similar interests to mine. As such, I essentially shelved my Google+ account, the extent of its use stemming from signing into Youtube.
