I'm a fan of the ad, even though I'm a bit burnt out on the song already. We've been seeing a trend in tech ads showing us how the technology connects us to the bigger world around us. I like this one because it's beautifully shot and moves away from Samsung's attempts to be funny and shit on Apple 24/7. That said, I really really really really hate when ads get too grandiose. Guinesses' recent Basketball Ad is a nice balance between the small and larger picture. Facebook's Chair ad (which unsurprisingly is hard to find online anymore) is the opposite and comes off as corny and cringeworthy. This one is a bit too grandiose for my taste but the execution makes up for it.
