If you find a way to make an alcoholic root beer float that doesn't taste terrible do let me know. I've tried a few variations and have always ended up disappointed with a rotten stomach hangover.
We have a place here called Thomas Foolery that does really col mixes of things from childhood with adult things, like cocktails with gummy bears or alcoholic floats. Last time we kept it simple and did a Guinness float, which was certainly a different flavor, but good enough. If you ate some chocolate alongside it, it would probably be fantastic.
