Awesome! Can't see the video at present, for some reason, but Olive and I re-listened to this track this morning in continuation of a longstanding tradition established courtesy of a Philly radio station (MMR? 94.1?) about half a lifetime ago. Not a bit less delightful than it ever was. which is better: "excepting Alice," or "I cannot tell a lie, officer Obie sir ... I put that envelope under that garbage." Glad to know others are digging in.
My family listens to this every Thanksgiving right at noon. We pause whatever we are doing and listen to all 20 minutes of this. It's a great thing that I'll be passing on if/when I have a family. Listened to it twice this year for that matter.
Just because some of you youngsters may not be aware - this guy's dad was the man who wrote "This Land is Your Land".
Haha, giving 'em the young whippersnapper treatment. I like it. I once saw Arlo, with his son and daughter on stage, perform "1913 Massacre", followed by "This Land is Your Land." It was pretty cool.
