Yeah, not quite buyin' it. As someone whose livelihood is dependent on matching up reverb to field recordings, there are a lot of ringers in there. I used to have five hardware reverbs. Obnoxious ones, too. H3000D/SE, Ensoniq DP/Pro, Sony V77, Kurzweil KSP-8, even the 'verbs in Kyma have their own special nature. Hell, I had a TC System 6000 for six months. Dizzope. Now I've got Altiverb XL. Dusts 'em all. And Liquidsonics Reverberate, AND Avid Space. 'course, when I need something weird and "reverby" I go immediately to Eventide Blackhole.
