A good question to ask is whether this would be a desirable state to live in. I feel like I'd go crazy in a static, limited digital environment. Part of the exciting, yet scary, parts of being human is that we are constantly changing, as is the world around us. I feel like that wouldn't be the case in this digital world, and eventually I'd want someone to pull the plug.

Well, the virtual world won't be limited to a single place. In the virtual world, you can go to different places, see and get to be in other places, and that's the beauty of it. You won't even have to worry about your health because it will basically allow you to become immortal digitally.

What if you "pulled the plug" on yourself, and then someone brought you back? Would the person who pulled the plug originally be the same person that was brought back? It really calls into question the whole concept of identity.
