- Captain Mohamed Fouzi Al-Lami, a defected officer from Maliki’s military office, told Rafidain TV about the interventions of the Iranian regime in Iraq:
“Recently, a number of new officers have joined the Iraqi forces. They are specifically from the Dawa Party and were submitted to the Green Zone, Prime Ministry’s Office, Office of the Commander in Chief and the Baghdad Division …. Most of these individuals are not Iraqi and have only recently received their Iraqi citizenship. They have come from Iran and without entering any training courses, have been upgraded to a brigadier or colonel rank. This way they can take up security command posts.”

- Al-Anbar sheikhs in Iraq issued a statement announcing, “We head of tribes in al-Anbar Province and it cities want this stated in the record books that we have decided to become a tough barrier against Iran’s project and all those along this regime and Tehran’s agents. Topping this list is Nouri Maliki who is the directory of implementing Iran’s policies in Iraq. We are committed to fight against Maliki’s military and sectarian paramilitary forces.”
Najeh al-Mizan, official spokesman of the Iraqi popular movement told Fallujah TV, “Today, the residents of Fallujah and al-Anbar Province are fighting against Iran’s project. Maliki is an agent and carries out whatever Iran orders him to do so. He has meetings with Hassan Danaeifar, Iran’s ambassador in Iraq, and or Khamenei.”
