As I'm sure all of Hubski knows by know, my roommates and I are all about music. To the point that Seapunk becomes a point of debate. In the sense that it's not a real thing and showcases how stupid micromanaging genres becomes to the point that I fucking overuse the italics feature.

Things like "Seapunk" and "Vaporwave" are ridiculous buzzwords to those of us that care about music wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much. However, it has allowed me to coin the term "Tumblrcore", so I guess at least it has that going.

I've never heard of seapunk but it's... interesting. Who are considered the best seapunk artists? I'd rather explore a discography or two than sit through a comp to figure out what I may or may not like.

Unicorn Kid, Ecco the Dolphin, and Ritualz are all pretty cool and have the term seapunk thrown at them a lot. I'd recommend starting there, especially with Unicorn Kid.

Now forget I ever said anything about seapunk.

Which reminds me, do crustpunks have their own genre of music as well?

Crustpunk also referring the fashion style. Apparently it's a scene, at least in her circles.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not so here's crustpunk: music.

Truly didn't know. I'll look into it. I have a friend heavily into the punks scene and she absolutely despises crustpunks and seapunks out in the CA scene.
