There's a thought. Our legal system does tend to give exception to those that are moving along. I can walk down any sidewalk at any time of night. It's when I lay down that the trouble starts.

If an RV can perpetually drive, you have a life at sea, on the land.

However, I expect that the first rule of self-driving cars will be that they transmit their whereabouts to keep everyone safe.
