this is actually how i wean myself from games that get too timesucking I hack them and lose interest. The paradox of he heaven if everything is perfect than what is the point?

I've actually done the opposite to make a game more compelling. Take the worst initial character(s) or conditions and see how far I can get. I recall a Tom Clancy themed game where I'd drop the special forces team strategy for one guy and a shotgun. So much more fun.

Exactly playing DF in ice or haunted sites. But God mode ruins the game.

This bit of human nature screws up even the best intentioned utopia.
