wish i could post the intro video i took. just tumbled back home from a concert ar Terminal 5 NYC (underrated venue btw). i just needed to tell someone that I am reborn, my brain has transcended, and i have an empowering feeling that I will never, ever be able to describe this event to anyone. I expect to be a new person, and I have reached the natural reaches of existential sublimity. When life, and the night, is over.. nobody is going to be hearing your story, they are no longer with you. Only you know what has really made you, and what is part of you. Be love, be beautiful, dont crowd surf onto the stage the second time, you will be asked to dive back into the crowd.
FOALS, Cage the FUCKING Elephant, both opened by the fabulously free J. Roddy Walston. Nothing like the studio recordings, not one of them. Good night Hubski, good night nyc. Love, be dangerous, take the punch square to the being whenever it comes.
They're coming to Brooklyn in September with the Black Keys. Could be five times as big a show as last night.. I know for a fact it still won't be the same, it might've been the crowd more than anything. Hubski concert meetup anyone?? I have my eyes on the Firefly festival which has a fair lineup..
Edit: I just re-read this. Wow I was fucked up last night.
