I'm Dutch, but I don't understand why the Netherlands is at the bottom of the list when it comes to trusting family members completely. Can anyone explain that to me?

I think its just a sort of 'rational' outlook, implying not that they have distrust for their family members, but they will not trust them all blindly, as you really shouldn't with anyone otherwise.

Guess: Netherlands tends to be on the cutting edge when it comes to various measures of progressiveness, and countries that are progressive tend to have a more abrupt generational gap.
