Read this, it's good.
Definitely an interesting read, but to us veterans of good science fiction, (And psychedelia) it's nothing new. The core question to me seems to be framed by these questions. 'Does nature express inherent mathematical phenomena of reality?' OR 'Are our mathematical theories abstractions of natural processes that simulate reality closely enough that we are unable to perceive their inaccuracies due to limitations of our senses and thought processes?' Basically, when this article is talking about the bond angle of H2O, 104.45 degrees, the atoms don't have any comprehension, understanding or 'desire' to form that angle. But the point is we have a measurement, 104.45 degrees. Is that something that actually exists or is it an abstraction of qualities of the universe we are able to observe?
