Not a rude question :)

99% of people here know fluent english, and I'd say only 20% know fluent Irish, a lot of schools (Attempt to :P) make you learn it, but since I'm homeschooled I'd only learn it if I wanted to.

I agree, it seems like a cool language... but I can't justify learning a language so I can speak to maybe a whole four more people :P

Oh, and speaking of home schooled, how's the situation with you and school?

Irish is on duolingo now! I am "learning" it as a distraction.

I'm probably not going to be home-schooled but the teacher who is supposed to contact us about having a meeting about the school situation hasn't contacted us about having a meeting about the school situation. Which sucks.

Doctors is in 2 days so hopefully I will get some help/advice/drugs.

Sweet, I'd never really considered learning a language just for fun.

Would you say Duolingo makes it fun or it's just fun in general? I doubt Duolingo supports my iOS 4.0 device which I haven't bothered to update.

Good luck with the doctors visit, I hope things go well.

Duolingo is fun. I use it to keep up with the Spanish I learned in highschool. It's 100 times better than Rosetta Stone, and that shit costs like $200. A worthwhile investment, imo.

Sounds interesting, I will update my iOS soon and try it out.
