I see Slogo and Logan as a team of incompetent detectives: what would happen if Sluggo teamed up with Logan from Logan's Run. and eightbitsamurai - I picked up "the plot demands it" and ran with it...I think it started with Kurt Vonnegut who said that every line should either develop character or advance the plot. but I kind of think you said it first.
