Buyers for your writing? Another matter entirely. I've had between 4 and 5 figures thrown at my writing in the past. It's validating but it isn't a living. So far, all the money on the novel is flowing the other way. Confidence is high that the velocity is due to change but there's a lot of road betwixt here and there.
