I truthfully, honestly, intellectually cannot believe that it is 2015, and people still hold the opinion of this being a thing. I don't mean this to say the xenophobic asshat that believes these things is stupid (although, he fucking is), I just mean that believing in the job-stealing immigrant means you're willingly ignorant of how any part of immigration or the economy works solely to meet your standards and beliefs and justify a reason to hate other cultures.
Honestly, whenever someone actually believes in this makes me laugh because all I can think of is this. It's just that we have way too many resources now to better understand how basic economics and immigration system works in our countries. To be willfully ignorant is not an excuse.
