I remember reading this long ago! Quora brought it to my attention again :)
I feel like going on a George Carlin style rant about how useless Harvard's list is. Pretty much 0 of those bullet points has anything whatsoever to do with education. Pretty much they are all things that one with an open mind gains through experience, and experience can't be taught at University. To save the rant, I'll just highlight my least favorite:
Apparently Harvard does teach this principle, because I distinctly remember many of their grads doing this over and over in government to the detriment of the people. The ability to persuade others that your course is the right one.

I hear you. It would be a disaster if an effort was made to try to teach these. These are the benefits that you gain from doing many different and difficult things for a variety of reasons. The best thing that University can be is a challenge. It should provide reasonable and unreasonable, long term and short term challenges. All these points will follow the negotiation of those challenges.
