I might recall someone on reddit mentioning that imgur was popular to use because it scrubbed the images of metadata. (As a matter of fact it was a thread about protecting from doxxing from a shitlord on FPH). If that is true what are some other sites like imgur that are safe? My DuckDuck didn't give me any results for that search.
If you are comfortable with the command line, check out ExifTool (http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/), it allows you to scrub all (or at lest most of) the metadata from your images before you upload it to any social media site etc. edit: it is as simple as:
exiftool -all= foo.jpg
This is the most helpful result I got, it shows how different sites treat metadata. Apparently flickr, instagram, facebook and twitter are good for your privacy. Pictify also got a good score. Image hosting websites that focus on anonymity might have what you're looking for, but there's nothing about it in their faq, so you would have to either test them yourself or contact them. Anony.ws AnonFiles Let me DuckDuckGo that for you. And finally, I have to mention Slimgur.
Thanks. I'm glad that someone didn't just tell me to do a google search. Maybe I don't know what I'm really looking for and in this case you suggested an alternative. I think adding a pip to your circle is like getting an upvote.
