Now, I didn't actually read the article, but my understanding is that neither vegan nor normal diets are either healthy or unhealthy. Rather, vegans have to pay attention to their diet, and tend to eat healthier, while people who eat meat are just eating what they have their whole life. All the studies I have seen, from reputable organizations, say that a vegan diet can be perfectly healthy and fine, they don't say it is inherently more healthy.
